Netflix announced their newest animated film, Steps, featuring Ali Wong, Stephanie Hsu, and Amanda Seyfried.
The film is a spin on the Cinderella story but of course with a twist, this time the stepsisters take center stage.
The film was animated at Netflix Animation Studios (NAS) Sydney and NAS Vancouver. NAS Vancouver also unveiled their new campus today the film’s announcement.
Steps will be directed by Alice Tzue who was the a Student Academy Awards gold medal winner for her short, Soar and John Ripa who served as co-director on Raya and the Last Dragon. Amy Poehler, Jane Hartwell, and Kim Lessing serve as producers.
