Passengers, Assassin’s Creed, Sing

This holiday weekend brings another triple review (and that’s not even covering everything that comes out!)

I saw several of these movies so you don’t have to, and this review is spoiler free, though I do plan on discussing “Passengers” more in depth.

If you’re like me and in need of a Christmas Day movie, I highly recommend just going to see “Rogue One” again, or if you have little ones, “Sing” is a fine choice.

”Passengers” was probably the film I was looking forward to most this year short of “Rogue One” and it was nowhere near the quality, in fact I left feeling gross in spite of my love for Chris Pratt and Jennifer Lawrence.

“Assassin’s Creed” stars one of my favorite actors in an adaptation of a video game I’ve spent many an hour playing, but even Michael Fassbender shirtless couldn’t salvage this disaster.

Finally there’s “Sing” which probably gets a better review just based on the failures of the other two. It has an all star voice cast of Matthew McConaughey, Reese Witherspoon, Seth MacFarlane, Scarlett Johansson, John C. Reilly, Taron Egerton, and Jennifer Hudson.
